Reflection on ICT

             For this semester all the students of  AT16 are required to registered to  the Information and Communication Technology in Science. This course is conducted by Associate Professor Dr Sopia Md Yassin with the help of the demonstrator Cik Suziati Ibrahim for the practical session. In order to complete the courses, we are required to create teaching portfolio which contribute about 20% of our mark. However for the first week we got to learn about Interactive Whiteboard. I am so excited to use the IWB because it looks so interactive.Demonstrator has helped us  a lot especially in installing and exploring smart board into our laptop. After that we were allocated time for a week to make a simple presentation about ourself by  using IWB. For the second week we were teach about blogging and like what I have been said just now we are required to make e-portfolio and its due date is on the week 12. The demonstrator will monitors the students progress in blogging by time to time until week 12. In this courses also. Besides, we  got to learn about data logging and simulation. Data logging helps us in acquiring direct data from the experiment and what I had found is conducting experiment by using data logging looks more interactive.

As a conclusion by learning about new stuff in ICT, we  should apply our knowledge in our daily life especially when we become teacher in the future. We  should be aware of the significant and role of ICT in educational activities and we should plan strategy in order  to empower ICT in supporting the teaching and learning process in classroom. Last but not least, learning about ICT in science helps us  so that we will always becoming more up to date with the  nowadays developing environment.
